TERMS AND CONDITIONS KEMBALI HOTEL
CHECK-IN INFORMATION POLICY:
Brazilian law (Decree 6.022 of January 22, 2007) requests that guests fill in the Guests Registration Form, at check-in, with their main personal information - full name, passport number, full address, telephone number and e-mail.
RESERVATIONS WARRANTY POLICY:
Reservations will only be confirmed after the payment is confirmed by the credit card operator. The confirmation will be sent by e-mail, right after the transaction is confirmed. The hotel requires that the credit card used for booking is presented on check-in, along with the owner’s ID.
PAYMENTS BY THIRD PARTIES:
If the card owner is not checking in, he or she may send the following digitized documents by e-mail:
- ID or passport (or any official document with a photograph) of the card owner;
- The face of the credit card (so that we can confirm the name and number on it);
- A signed declaration, in his or her own hand-writing, authorizing the hotel to charge the booking.
If the documents listed above are not presented during check-in, the hotel may require that a new payment is made with a valid credit card. In this case the former payment will be cancelled.
We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Master, Diners, Elo and American Express. We do not accept checks or virtual cards.
NO SHOW POLICY:
The agreed period of the stay will be completely charged in case of no show. See Cancellation Policy below.
Reservations made as REFUNDABLE RATE are cancellable up to 15 days before the day of arrival. In this case there may be a 20% charge*, or the total value can be used for a future stay (subject to availability of dates and conditions of the letter of credit provided by our booking staff). The reservation value will be fully charged if the cancellation is made in less than 15 days before the arrival. Reservations made as NON-REFUNDABLE RATE cannot be changed or canceled. Cancellation or no-show will result in the forfeiture of the prepayment. During high season, Christmas, New Year's Eve, Carnival, conferences, events and holidays, prepayments will only be refunded if solicited in writing and the hotel confirms in writing as well. The following conditions will also apply: cancellations up to 45 days before the day of arrival (except non-refundable rates) will be charged in 20% of the total value. After this period, cancellations will result in the forfeiture of the prepayment (no refunds). *A rate of 20% may be charged if the cancellation is made in any time through the credit card company.
According to Federal Law number 8.069 of July 13th, 1990, children and teenagers under 18 years old cannot stay in the hotel without their parents or a guardian. In this case the guardian may present, during check-in, a written and notarized-signed document from the parents authorizing the stay of the child or teenager. All under 18's must present, during check-in, a valid identification containing their photograph and the names of their parents, even if they are accompanied by their parents.
ABOUT SMOKING IN THE ROOMS OR INDOORS:
We are committed to maintaining the rooms and other hotel areas free from bad odors. That is why smoking is not allowed in the rooms or any other closed spaces in the hotel. A fee of R$ 100,00 may be applied to cover anti-tobacco cleaning costs.
